I discovered the more I wrote, the more I researched. The more I research, the more exposed I am to events both domestic and foreign. It's kind of scary. My novels are born from ideas and characters which suddenly appear in my head. Not so with my reactions to a digest of daily news flashes. Those tend to make me angry and reactionary. The phrase by Edward Bulwer-Lytton: "The Pen is mightier than the sword" is a frequent refrain in my mind as I launch blog posts on issues which touch upon injustice. It's my attempt to deal with what I see and what gets my blood pressure going. Hence, I have named this My Intemperate Blog.

The material is edgy, opinionated, and sometimes controversial; it covers topics such as Racism, Religion, and Politics. If these aren't the type of posts you enjoy, then you might not find this blog to your liking. On the other hand, I would love all readers to stop by and comment and offer their thoughts and opinions.
